This
is the last part of your setup procedure and will show you how
to connect to the DALTRON Internet Service.
First
you will create a 'shortcut' of your DALTRON dial-up icon
and place it on your desktop.

Double click on My Computer

Double click on Dial-up Networking
-
RIGHT click on the DALTRON icon
A
smal window will show alerting you to the fact that "Windows
cannot create a shortcut here. Do you want the shortcut to
be placed on the desktop instead?"
Click YES 
You
will see the DALTRON dial-up icon appear on pour desktop with
the caption 'shortcut to DALTRON'
Double click on the DALTRON icon.
Your 'Connect to' windows appears. Enter your username and
password and click on Connect (make sure your modem is turned
on before you click Connect).
Note:
The username and password are case sensitive; you must enter
them EXACTLY as you registered them in the first place with
DALTRON.
Wait
for the connect status window to indicate that your connection
is successful. You may now run Netscape, Microsoft Internet
Explorer and any other winsock-compliant Internet software.
To disconnect at any time, bring up the Connection to DALTRON
window and click on the Disconnect button.
Note:
The Connection to DALTRON window is located in the taskbar's
right hand bottom corner.
NOTE
FOR WINDOWS NT USERS:
Check
that you do have selected the correct security for Dial up
Networking. The default will not allow authentication as a
user to Daltron Internet service.

to
My
Computer
Dial-Up Networking
Click on MORE
select Edit entry and modem properties
select the SECURITY tab
Click on the radio button for Accept any authentication including
clear text
Click on OK
